The Perfectly Period Feast Project (or PPF) was started by a group of artisans and researchers in The Society for Creative Anachronism back in 2005. Our core base is in the San Francisco Bay Area , but has grown to include participants from up and down the West Coast, and all over the country!
The goal was to research and recreate the material culture surrounding the feast of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. The ultimate goal of this research was to create a feast in as authentic a style as possible from the food to the service to the place settings and all the ceremony of a high feast.
